88 I wanted to keep Bryant everywhere in my house. I had a picture of Bryant literally on every wall and on every shelf of my house and nobody was going to touch his room if I had anything to do with it. It did take me sometime to hear my family's pleas to remove some of his pictures and stop making the house a Bryant shrine. I read somewhere that it's never a good idea after a child's death to make any big decisions or changes for at least one year. I totally agree with this. I would not allow anyone to TOUCH ANYTHING in Bryant's room and I was not going to change his room no matter what. Then, after one year, I donated his bed to a family who had two sons and needed a bed for them. I turned Bryant's room into a guest room. I put all of his belongings into a very large enclosed bin and labeled it. I kept a lock of his hair and the keys to his truck that he wore on a lanyard in a drawer beside my bed and I still do. I have a few beautiful pictures of Bryant displayed in our home and his senior picture hangs in the center point of our house now as a memory of our angel and strength.
