miss at least three games.
"I really have a good feeling
that the answer is out there,"
Hazell said. "When you bring in
five (scholarship) guys and four
(walk-on) linemen, somebody is
going to be able to (provide help).
And then you have to be able to
help if you need to help, putting
a tight end there or chipping with
a back when you're throwing the
ball, all those things, I think there
is definitely an answer. You'd like for it to be a one-on-
one answer, but there's other answers that you can help
him with."
Still waiting
Danny Etling and Austin Appleby rotated throughout
spring as the No. 1 quarterback in an effort to breed com-
petition.
And it's with that in mind that Hazell will wait to name
the team's starting quarterback until training camp.
Etling moved into the starting spot last season as a
freshman in Game 5, and Appleby played in only one se-
ries all season.
Both quarterbacks were improved and accurate this
fall, but Etling had a clear edge in one area.
