"The addition of Dixie Chopper expands our reach into the consumer and com- mercial sectors, including municipalities, with a full range of zero-turn mowers known for their speed, quality and perfor- mance," said David Withers, president of Jacobsen. Known as "the World's Fastest Lawn Mower," Dixie Chopper mowers are capable of mowing up to 6.6 acres per hour. The company manufactures 11 models of zero-turn mow- ers, from the residential Zee 2TM with 21 HP Kawasaki engine and 42-inch deck to the industrial category XCaliber TM Twin with two 27 HP Generac engines and 74-inch deck. WT Jacobsen Acquires Dixie Chopper Ecologel Solutions has expanded its sales team with the hiring of regional sales man- agers Seann Correll and Robert Wilson. Correll and Wilson are responsible for driving sales in their respective territories by supporting local distributors and educat- ing end users on Ecologel products. They will also play a key role in supporting local members of Ecologel's Hydretain Advantage Program. As Northeast regional sales manager, Correll will represent Ecologel in New England and the Mid-Atlantic States. He is a Pennsylvania native who earned his bach- elor's degree in turfgrass science from Penn State University. As South Central regional sales manager, Wilson will be represent Ecologel in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. He earned his bachelor's degree in turfgrass science from the Ohio State University and has spent the last five years as a distributor sales representative in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Ecologel Solutions is an Ocala, Fla.-based manufacturing company specializing in the production of environmentally responsible solutions for drought mitigation, water conserva- tion and water management, dust control, plant nutrition, pond and lake management and surface protective coatings.
