HOLI ONE
Holi One, also known as Festival of Colour's is one of the most unique and colourful festivals around, and it will be in
London, at Wembley, on the 2nd of August.
The Festival travels to 35 cities, with the pumping music
from 60 different DJ's celebrating the beginning of Spring
from July to August. Holi One originally took place on the
full moon day of the Phaluga month originating from India.
After becoming so popular, Holi One has travelled its way
down to parts of the UK, spreading its colour and culture
around the country.
The particularly special attribute of the festival is the abun-
dance of paint. People coat themselves in various colours
throw multi-coloured powder into the air to express their
freedom and beauty in their everyday lives. On this day of
celebration, everyone is considered equal and it's no won-
der that Holi One has such a huge demand to spread its
peace and paint to cities across the world.
Holi One isn't just about dancing around madly; it allows
people to have a day of victory, to celebrate who they re-
ally are and for people to come together in peace, harmony
and vibrancy. Powerful messages are held in the ethos that
allows room for everyone, including those of us who want
to just celebrate in the festival spirit and get a little messy
whilst were at it.
I, for one, can't wait for it. With some of the best up and
coming DJ's taking centre stage including the likes of Good
Luck, FLORIAN KUNICKE, Hard Rock Sofa, Piloy and so
many more to provide all of the dub vibes, reggae madness
and bohemian delight. This feel-good festival is guaranteed
to leave a lasting impression on your summer so be sure to
get yourself down there. Whether you're in London, Not-
tingham or Birmingham, Holi One is happening somewhere
near you.
If that's not enough to convince you, be sure to check out
the feel good trailer for this summer's hottest and brightest
festival.
