Katz, 45, of Circuit Drive, Cumberland, passed away Sunday, May 25, at the Philip Hulitar Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Ian Perlman. Born in Lynn, Mass., she was the daughter of Robert and Phyllis (Newman) Katz of Grantham, N.H. She had resided in Cumberland for the past 13 years, previ- ously residing in Boston. She was a psychotherapist practicing locally for the past four years and had previously worked at the Kent Center. Besides her husband and parents, she leaves two children, Jacob S. Perlman and Jayden B. Perlman, both at home; and two sisters, Danyca H. Penick of Cumberland and Robyn Adelman of Melrose, Mass. She also leaves two nieces and three nephews. There will be a celebration of life in Jessyca's honor on Saturday, June 28, at Diamond Hill Park, Cumberland, at a time to be announced. She leaves her husband, Harry Hicks; a son, Harry Hicks Jr.; a sister, Carolyn Williams; four broth- ers, Thomas, Willie, Edward and Dennis Williams; and eight grandchildren and a great- granddaughter. Barry, 62 formerly of Lincoln, died May 26, 2014 in Western Australia. He was the husband of Alice Liang and the son of the late Ambrose G. Barry MD and Blanche I. Barry RN. He was born on May 1, 1952 in Providence, and grew up with his family in Lincoln. He was the owner of Creative Office Systems before continuing his career as a Software Analyst in various areas in Australia and Africa. He also had the opportunity to teach at the University level in China. In addition, he was an active member of Mensa. He leaves 4 children, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. A funeral service will be at the Karra Katta Cemetery in Western Australia on June 3, and a Memorial Mass will be held at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Providence on June 8, 2014 at 1pm.
