4. Remove all the bolts holding the two bearings onto the conditioner, being careful to prop the auger to prevent it from falling out and hitting something. Remove the auger from the conditioner. 5. Remove the old bearings. Clean the shaft. If the shaft is worn out, replace the auger. 6. Clean out the bearing area inside the conditioner. 8. Install the new bearings, being careful not to damage the bearing. 9. If the machine has the remote grease tubes, remove the grease zerk and install the tubes on the new bearings. 10. Install the auger back into the conditioner sprocket shaft end first and bolt the bearings into place. 11. Reinstall the sprocket and leave it loose so it can be aligned with the motor sprocket then tighten it up. If the sprocket or chain are worn out, replace them. 12. Spin the auger to make sure everything is moving freely. 13. Install conditioner back on machine. 14. Log the hours on the machine and make notes in the ice resurfacer logbook.
