Score4 Survey results Our most recent Score4 survey for facility operators took the theme of communications in various aspects of business operations. One question focused on how urgent communications are handled, such as closings due to bad weather or schedule changes. Of those who took the survey, three out of four use email for these situations, and seven out of ten use their website (the question allowed for multiple answers to be marked). Social media ranked third at just shy of 50%. Only 17% use an automated phone system to relay these messages. Over 25% marked the response for "other" and filled in some interesting alternatives. Several use notifications through their local TV stations, and making live phone calls is the method used by others. Some mentioned they send text messages, and one person specifically mentioned Sports I.T. as the provider of the service. Score4 is an informal survey of facility operators on common topics for small businesses and sports facilities. It is changed quarterly, and results are published in an issue of the E-Insider digital newsletter. To take the current survey, focused on websites and online content, visit USIndoor.com/Score4/.
