From this sunny deck (shown above) overlook-
ing Gloucester Harbor, diners can speculate on
which vessel brought in their day-boat had-
dock or local sushi. Lush planters separate
customers from tourists strolling the board-
walk, making for great people watching;
drinks are delicious (try the Good Harbor
Beach Bum—tequila and coconut rum tum-
bled with fruit juices); and the service is well
paced, inviting customers to while away an
evening. Oh, and that unusual sunshade over-
head? In addition to keeping guests cool, it
heats the dishwasher's hot water—just one of
the restaurant's many eco-friendly features.

I have only ordered
fish here and it has
always been fresh. I
particularly enjoy
coming here on late
summer nights, sit-
ting on the outside
deck and watching
the boats come in
and out on the Merri-
mack. Great views of
Plum Island as well.
Even during the busy
summer months on
the deck, I am never
waiting long for a
beverage."
