an extension in the summer of 2015,
and he believes he's worth more. He

ence playoffs, matching his career av-

New York, Golden State, Atlanta,

TREY BURKE READY
TO SHARE THE SPOTLIGHT
The Utah Jazz surprised some
when they drafted Australian Dante
Exum with their lottery pick, a guard
with many of the same characteristics
as last year's lottery pick, Michigan's
Trey Burke. So far, though, the two
have shown the ability to play well
together in practice heading toward
summer league play.
"I definitely think we can play to-
gether," Burke told Fox13now.com
out of Utah. "I like how coach allows
me to bring the ball up, and then
sometimes he'll tell me to just go to
the corner and play off the ball and
let him bring the ball up. It will be
interesting to see how it works."
Exum and Burke should be able
to swap the point guard duties if all
goes according to plan.
"It's was good," Exum said. "It
wasn't a problem for me. It's good to
get off the ball and let someone else
run the show."
The Jazz played their first summer
league game against the Philadelphia
76ers July 12 and fell 74-70. Exum
and Burke shared minutes evenly
and also took turns running the point.
They combined for 21 points and
seven assists. ❏
