I'm very appreciative of them." Yoon shared some insight about his game, his technique and what goes into improving as a kicker. "I think for everyone, it's all about three steps back and two steps over," Yoon said. "Anyone can do it, but it's all about how smooth you can do it and make it your normal walking technique. It's all about consistency and repeat- ability. It's about being disciplined and being the same distance from the ball every time you take the three steps back and two over. "Along with that, it's about being level, both with your leg and your head. Then when you get to the ball, it's about making perfect contact on the ball. It's all about repeatability. If you stay levelheaded and maintain the muscle memory, you will be suc- cessful." Although Yoon attends a boarding school in Massachusetts, he and his family live in Nashville, Tenn. Oddly enough, he's friends with a recruit that signed with Notre Dame in the 2014 class. "I've known [offensive tackle] Alex Bars for a while," Yoon said. "He's a good friend of mine. He's a good guy. I'll have to let him know that I'll be up there with him at Notre Dame." During his junior season, Yoon con- nected on 9 of 11 field goal attempts with a long of 48 yards.
