Each year many potato growers unknowingly suffer the consequences of high chloride potash fertilization – essential nutrients are blocked or hindered from being taken up, yield is lowered, and quality is negatively affected. Fortunately, there is a better option. Sulfate of Potash (SOP) is high in K (50%) and virtually chloride free. Plus, it delivers the added bonus of readily available Sulfate Sulfur (17%). So replenish with SOP and your plants will get what they need to be happy, while your profits remain healthy.
