Rick Brenner, MAS, will serve as chair of the board, Tom Goos, chair-elect of the board, Bruce Perryman, MAS+, vice chair, financial services and Mark Jenkins, MAS+, as im- mediate past chair. The new board officers will begin their terms immediately following The PPAI Expo 2015. Brenner is CEO of supplier Prime Resources Corp. in Bridgeport, Connecticut. A 15 year veteran of the promo- tional products industry, he has long been an advocate for product safety and responsible sourcing. He is a founding board member of Quality Certification Alliance (QCA), chair of QCA's compliance committee and a member of QCA's governance committee. In January 2013, Brenner was appointed to the Board of Directors of, a global product safety organization. Brenner is also a found- ing member of PPAI's Product Responsibility Action Group (PRAG) and co-chair of PPAI's annual Product Safety Sum- mit. Goos is president of Image Source Inc., in Kirkland, Wash- ington. With more than 15 years of branded merchandise experience, Goos is also a former two-term president of the Northwest Promotional Marketing Association (NWPMA) and an advisor for the Center for Student Entrepreneurship at the University of Washington-Bothell. He also sits on the brand strategy committee for the United Way of Snohomish County. Perryman is CEO of supplier Embroidery Unlimited Inc., in Tempe, Arizona. Perryman has more than 20 years' ex- perience working with upscale fashion labels, major league sports organizations and national fulfillment programs. He is a two-term past president of the Arizona Promotional Product Association and a previous term PPAI board mem- ber and RAC Delegate. Jenkins is managing director, promotional markets at sup- plier Pioneer Balloon Company in Wichita, Kansas. With more than 26 years of industry experience, he has held var- ious supplier management positions including serving as president of supplier companies Specialty Advertising Inc. and Promotional Products Company Inc. He has served on the Promotional Products Mentoring Network (PPMN) board as well as the Public Relations Committee and has been a board member for the Incentive Marketing Associa- tion (IMA). Jenkins currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF) and is vice-chair of the Recognition Committee. Keith Hoover joins Penn Emblem (Philadelphia) in the role of ecommerce web developer. Hoover comes from a background of business development and analysis. He holds an associate's degree in In- formation Systems with a concentration in Web Development. Hoover comes to Penn Emblem from Weis Mar- kets where he helped develop and maintain custom applications, system integration, and SSRS reports, among many other tasks. He was responsible for in- tegrating PeopleSoft and Kronos in Weis Markets during his two years of service. He will help build, maintain and expand on the web development within the company. River's End Trading Company (Medina, Minn.) adds new members. The company names Bret Slane se- nior vice president, chief merchandising officer of River's End Trading Company and Page and Tuttle. Slane will be responsible for leading, developing and overseeing merchandising and marketing to drive growth and expand relationships with suppli- ers, distributors and customers. He has been a member of the River's End ad- visory board for the past year, which will allow him to hit the ground running in his new role. Most recently, he served as president of Alexander Manufacturing, an ASI hard goods supplier. Pri- or to that, he was vice president of merchandis- ing at Corporate Express Promotional Marketing. Additionally, the company adds two outside sales representatives to handle growing accounts on the West Coast and Mid-Atlantic states. Kelley MacPhee joins as sales representative for Washington D.C., Delaware, Maryland and Vir- ginia. MacPhee has been an employee for the past five years, working at the company's home office in Sharon, Massachusetts. Sara Scioscia joined Charles River a year and a half ago as an internal sales representative for the Western US states, including California. With a re- cord breaking year in 2013 and significant growth on the West Coast, Scioscia has officially moved to her territory. She and her husband now reside in Southern California.
