Pretty much just touring and gigging around the country and the world so it's been a crazy summer. It's only about half way through. YOU'VE BEEN AROUND FOR A WHILE, HANNAH. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DJ'ING? I've been DJ'ing for over 10 years now so it's taken a while to get to this level. I'M HEARING YOU ABOUT A BIT, THIS YEAR ESPECIALLY. YOU'VE BEEN PUTTING THE WORK IN, DO YOU SEE A DIFFERENCE IN WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW? Yeah, especially the last 2 years things have just blown up. You don't see it on a day to day basis but when you look back and see where you've come from. Even last year I was DJ'ing in the Bunker here as "One To Watch" and then this year I'm back going to be playing to an arena full of thousands. It's just incredible to look back and see where you've come from. HAVE THERE BEEN ANY MOMENTS IN BETWEEN THE BUNKER AND COMING HERE TODAY THAT YOU'VE BEEN LIKE "WOW"? I keep saying this one but it's always Hideout Festival. I'd never been to it before and never been to Croatia before. It was a few weeks back and the atmosphere was incredible. The crowd were amazing and it will probably be one of my favourite sets forever. It was that good. WAS THERE A PARTICULAR MOMENT OF THAT SET? All of it, every single bit, they just felt. You know when a crowd feels every single tune and they were just cheering and at one point they even did a sit-down. When you see 4000 people sit down and get up and just scream, my hairs were standing up. It was just amazing. THE VIBES ARE ELECTRIC HERE. WHAT'S YOUR VIBE FOR YOUR SET TODAY? My Nu Leng are on before me and they play really basey too so I'll check out their set and just decide where I want to start and where I want to take it. But it will pretty much involve house music, garage music, classics, my usual. SO YOU'RE GOING TO TAKE IT TO A NEW LEVEL? Yeah, take them on a journey, that's the plan. SO WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO RIGHT NOW FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR? I've got a couple of America tours coming up. I've never even been to America on a holiday let alone DJ'd there. I'm really excited to see how big their food portions are, I've heard they're amazing! It's going to be a pretty insane tour in terms of schedules but it's going to be amazing to go there and I can't wait to break into a new scene. Other than that, the rest of the summer is going to be crazy with gigs. I've got Croatia again at Outlook Festival. Croatia was so beautiful so I can't wait to go back there. And then Ibiza still for the residency which will continue until September. WHICH RESIDENCY? Together at Amnesia. I do every other week there. That's been another insane experience playing there. I used to go to Ibiza since I was 16 years old and Amnesia was always my favourite club. It was a dream and now I'm living the dream. FOR PEOPLE IN LONDON AND ENGLAND WHERE'S THE BEST PLACE TO CATCH YOU? All my gigs are on my website so if you go to www.hannahwants. com they're all there. But other than that, just everywhere. I've got gigs in London and Manchester lined up, just literally all over the country. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT LONDON? I love London. The bass scene and the kind of music that I play has blown up in London in the past few years. It's always good to play, you've got so many different places, London is so big. You go to a different part of London, you get a different venue, a whole different kind of scene and vibe. WE LOVE LONDON, IT'S HUGE, BUT WHEN WE GO TO BIRMINGHAM WE FIND THAT THE VIBES OUT THERE WHEN THEY PARTY ARE ELECTRIC. That's obviously where I come from and I've played at the Rainbow Warehouse. I had a residency there and I like to get back there as much as I can. That crowd there is one of the best that I've ever played to. It's literally a warehouse that makes a club and the crowd are insane. They just rave. Birmingham people don't stop raving.
