SOUTH WEST FOUR RETURNS TO CLAPHAM COMMON Don't miss this year's edition of London's biggest dance fes- tival! If you're a serious dance music lover then this is one festival that you absolutely can't miss! South West Four is one of the longest- running and most succesful festivals in the capital, with this year being their 11th an- niversary. This is a dance music festival on a large and ambitious scale - their resident advisor page proudly proclaims that "there are no filler DJs, no artists not capable of delivering a truly world-class performance". It's true that this year's lineup reads like a roll-call of dance music royalty - each day there will be four main stages championing different styles, all hosted by big names in the business. Some of Saturday's highlights include Above & Beyond, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Sasha, Seth Troxler and Marcus Shultz amongst many other big players. Sunday sees the likes of Deadmau5, Pete Tong, Eats Everything, Maya Jane Coles and MK round- ing up with weekend. This is certainly one of the best ways to end the summer season. EASTERN ELECTRICS Some of the best names in underground electronic music will be coming together in Hertfordshire for one day only! Eastern Electrics has established itself as a major player in the underground dance festival scene over the past couple of years - this year's edition will be taking place at Hatfield House, Hertfordshire, on Saturday 2nd August. Over 15 leading promoters from across the UK and Europe will be hosting the event which will see the likes of Art Department, Ellen Allien, Kerri Chandler, Route 94 and Daniel Avery per- forming over 6 stages. Not only is the line-up on point, but the Electric City area will feature live perform- ers, paint and pillow fights, makeup and photobooths for even more fun! If you take electronic music seriously, this is one festival you won't want to miss.Don't miss it! 7 39 Issue 65 / 2014 FESTIVALS guestlist.net
