bow to stern 14 Houseboatmagazine.com The Innovative V Destination Yachts introduces new hull house boat magazin I Want That! For years, Destination Yachts has continued to develop new ideas and concepts to help maintain its position in the competitive houseboating market. As one of the leaders in this niche industry, the Montgomery, Ind.-based manufac- turer continues this trend of creating and building on its unique ideas and the upcoming model year is no different. At the Houseboat On-Water Expo last September in Kentucky, the custom builder introduced its new V-Series hull with a display model of its new design. "Destination Yachts introduced a hull that will give our boats the design and storage capabilities of a full hull boat and the safety of a twin hull," explains Presi- dent Sheldon Graber." The new hull will have 15 individual compartments on each side and will be built with .190-guage, 5052 marine grade alloy aluminum. Based on the success of the introduction of the model at the On- Water Expo, an 18- by 85-foot houseboat with the new V-Series hull will be on display at the National Houseboat Expo in Louisville, Ky., March 5-7, 2010. For more information on the V-Series hull call Destination Yachts at 812-486-BOAT or visit www.destinationyachts.com.
