feature 29 November 2009 is provided by a three-ton water source marine heat pump. The downriggers allow Swartz to fish for the larger lake trout that live in the deeper waters of Watauga. An oversized swim platform out back and raw water purification system are just two more features on the list of impressive amenities on this boat. Interior decoration was designed by Jo Gordon, a friend of Swartz's. "Some customers require more assistance than others, but Jo knew exactly the look she was going for," Lambert says. As Gordon did not want carpet anywhere in the houseboat, the floor is covered with luxury vinyl tile with a stunning hickory finish. "All in all, I think Jo did a fantastic job," Lambert said. Swartz named the 57-foot houseboat Keystone after the neighborhood in Johnson City in which he grew up. He enjoys taking it out with two of his chil- dren, Janet and Kelly, who live nearby. Swartz has two other children, one in Germany and one in South Carolina, who have not yet experienced the majesty of Keystone, but hopefully will sometime soon. Perhaps the most surprising aspect of Keystone is its low fuel consumption. Swartz is able to take his Sailabration on a round trip to the other end of the lake, a total distance of 26 miles, on 20 gallons of fuel, and that is running with the generator humming. In all, both Swartz and Lawson are very happy with their experience at Sailabration. "Lambert and Sailabration did a very fine job for us," Swartz says. Lawson liked how Lambert showed him how to find information online if he had questions about the boat. "If you call Bryan and he's not avail- able, he calls right back," Lawson said. "I told him I'd help him sell more boats, this was such a great experience." So if you find yourself on Watauga sometime this football season, listen for the calls of "Go Volunteers!" and you won't be far from Swartz and his friends and family having a great time on Swartz's new Sailabration houseboat.
