DRUM & BASS / DUBSTEP
guestlist.net
released on Hyperdub in
2013, this one is looking
like it is going to get
some serious plugging
over the summer. Such a
well respected DJ combo
seriously deliver here on
the production scale of
things, sampling Cajmere's
timeless classic brighter
days. they've made an easy
on the ear, summer anthem
that you will hear a few
times over in gratitude to
the late DJ Rashad and his
work. Not Forgotten.

ALBUM OF THE MONTH
MEXICAN SCOUNDREL - ICE CUBE
Not enough respect can be paid to
Rashad, a master of all genres.
This is an album that truely
explores all the different di-
mensions to the pacier side
of electronic music. One for
the dubstep heads, there
is ravey elements through-
out and tends to stay away
from any emotive drum 'n'
bass. Out on Elementary
music.
No, this isn't a collaboration
twiddling with the boundaries of dubstep and drum 'n'
bass for quite sometime now, Noisestorm has been caus-
ing quite a stir, with VIP version of his newest production
'breakdown' climbing straight to the top of the beatport
charts. He does very well to maintain an authenticity
throughout his productions, something which is quite hard
in this field. expect him to be headlining bigger events in
the future.
