The eclectic festival returns to Victoria Park this July with a lineup that's better than ever.
What has recently been described by The Guardian as 'an
annual love letter to the capital', Lovebox Festival has al-
ways been an all-encompassing coming-together of the
musical community in London for a showcase of some of
the year's best and brightest talents.
After the roaring vibe of the previous event becoming a
thing of legend, that eclecticism and free-spirited nature
will no doubt commence in full force at the proceedings on
July 18th and 19th.
Some of this year's highlights include M.I.A, Chase and Sta-
tus (live), Nas, Bonobo, Annie Mac, Joey Bada$$, Scuba,
Theo Parrish, Joy Orbison, Madlib (DJ set) to name just a
few. The staggering collection of artists really proves Love-
box's worth as one of England's fore-frontal modern music
festivals.
Formed in 2002 by a young, passionate Groove Armada,
the festival has always been a staple of party culture in Lon-
don with a great range of musical choices to cater for all
tastes, as well as standing as an enormous coming together
in mutual atmosphere. Positioned perfectly in the wide-
open East London expanse of Victoria Park, the event has
been a sell out since its first year. This is no surprise consid-
ering the caliber of music and unique vibe at the stupen-
dous summer celebration.
