oilermaker fans got a flash of the future this sum-
mer, when 2015 commitments Lamina Cooper,
Dominique McBryde and Tiara Murphy took the floor
together for the first time.
It worked out so well — the trio's junior All-Stars
beat the seniors 82-61 in Logansport on June 11 —
that it's hard not to consider what they'll bring to Pur-
due in a year.
Playing together most of the evening, the Purdue
commitments combined for 22 points and 10 re-
bounds. But more than the statistical line, they looked
comfortable with one another: Murphy mostly at the
point, Cooper at off-guard and McBryde at small/pow-
er forward.
The Purdue class, which might not be complete,
likely will rank as one of the top-10 in the country.
"I was glad (coach) put all three of us together, so
we could see what it will be like in the future," said
McBryde. "It was amazing."
The three have some experience on the same court.
Murphy and Cooper play on the same AAU team, while
McBryde's and Cooper's high school teams have bat-
tled.
"It's just fun, trying to get our chemistry together,"
Cooper said. "By the time we get to Purdue, we'll be
familiar with each other."
Following is a look at Purdue's three commitments
for the '15 class:

Lamina Cooper's game is expanding outward.
Known as more of a slasher-scorer, a guard who
puts the ball on the floor and drives hard to the basket,
Cooper is attempting to round out her game. And if
she adds a jump shot
to the drive, then she
might really start to
have defenders on
their heels.
