110 • RV PRO • SEPTEMBER 2014 rv-pro.com NEWS of Note Lippert Consolidates Interiors Operations in New Building Lippert Components has taken a big step toward consolidating its Lippert Inte- riors operations in the former Cequent Performance Products facility, which LCI acquired and began extensively remod- eling earlier this year. In preparation for locating the manu- facture of mattresses and furniture into the 465,000-square-foot building in Goshen, Ind., the company had several large air conditioning units flown in by helicopter and installed atop the building. Ryan Smith, vice president of Lippert Interiors, said that by combining the three operations under one roof and making the work environment more comfortable, LCI hopes to be able to be more efficient in production and produce a higher quality product in a shorter period of time. The new facility, known as Lippert Interiors Plant 50, is located at 2600 Col- lege Ave. in Goshen. Smith said it should be fully occupied by the end of December. Aqua-Hot Adds Whitaker to Marketing Team In an effort to expand its marketing team, Aqua-Hot Heating Sys- tems appointed Kim Whitaker as marketing coordinator. Whitaker will oversee production and marketing programs at Frederick, Colo.- based Aqua-Hot, a producer of motorhome heating systems. "Kim's skills in agile project management and direct response marketing programs will bolster our ability to build even stronger relationships with our OEM customers, resellers, service centers and even Aqua-Hot owners," said Harold Ogden, director of sales and marketing. "With a proven track record for sales and marketing results, Kim is well-suited to lead our customer development efforts." Whitaker previously was a project manager with Trident Mar- keting, overseeing development for Red Rover Camping and Travel Resorts of America. Whitaker Jayco Announces Three Promotions Jayco Inc. of Middlebury, Ind., has made management changes within its customer service and sales departments in its towable and motorized divisions. Marc West becomes vice president of customer service for the Jayco Motorhome Group. West will be responsible for all motorized technical service, dealer support, warranty and factory service. With West's move to the Jayco motorhome group, Dave Eash accepted the position of vice president of customer service for the Jayco towable division. Eash will manage technical service and dealer support, warranty, and factory service for the towable division along with consumer affairs and parts for all Jayco and Starcraft products. In addition, with Eash's departure from the Jayco towable sales department, Brad Whitehead was named vice president of Jayco Towable Sales. Whitehead started his career in the RV industry in 1984 and most recently worked as director of sales and marketing for the Skyline RV group. Stag Adds Boisvenue as Canadian Sales Consultant Stag-Parkway welcomed Marc Boisvenue as the new outside sales consultant in the eastern Ontario territory. Boisvenue joins the company with more than 25 years of experi- ence in distribution and sales of chemical application, compliance and safety products. Before joining Stag-Parkway, he operated Solochem and was responsible for consulting with companies on the application of his chemical product lines. Boisvenue joins Angie Ballard and Brian Stephens to complete Stag-Parkway's Canadian sales team. Boisvenue Roadtrek Promotes Morales, Mitchell Roadtrek Motorhomes has appointed Joe Morales to director of sales admin- istration and events, opening the sales region of Texas for Ken Mitchell. Morales' duties will include training programs, dealer lead management and support, as well as overseeing sales representatives. Taking over for Morales in the sales territory for Texas becomes the duty of Ken Mitchell, who has covered the Southwest for Kitchener, Ontario, Can- ada-based Roadtrek for many years.
