So it's little wonder that "the Super Bowl of new products" is how Jim Mac, Keystone RV's director of communications and or's corporate spokesman, refers to Elkhart Open House Week, and Thor's dealer event in particular. or is estimating it will have 455 models from 11 brands on display, while Forest River expects to showcase more than 560 units from more than 50 brands. Additionally, a few manufacturers will be displaying units in Elkhart for the first time, including Lance Camper and Columbia Northwest, and Tiffin Motorhomes will be displaying its products this year after being absent from the show last year. Pryor and Bradley Worrell FOREST RIVER Forest River will have a large display worthy of its status as one of the "Big Two" RV manufacturers, but it may be one of the smallest models on display that garners the most attention during its open house. Forest River will have more than 50 brands and about 560 units on display at the Dynamax facility at 2745 Northland Drive. e RV maker will show the diversity of its products with units ranging from travel trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes to park models, cargo trailers, buses, pontoons and commercial vehicles. But the reintroduction of the 1961 Shasta Airflyte may be what visitors to the Forest River display come away talking about. e display will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 16-17 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 18. For the evenings of Sept. 16-17, the RV maker will host par- ties with live music, including a national headliner country artist for one of the evenings. Details were still being finalized as of early August. Forest River will provide hotel accommodations, food, beverages and a con- tinuous shuttle service to and from hotels for dealers.
