38 • RV PRO • SEPTEMBER 2014 rv-pro.com Elkhart Open House Week TRAVEL LITE Travel Lite is known for its truck campers and light travel trailers, but the RV maker will be showcasing its entry- level, 16-foot toy hauler during Elkhart Open House Week. e Travel Lite Express E16 will be one of 16 units on display at the north- west corner of County Road 6 and County Road 17. The vehicle weighs about 2,000 pounds, so it is towable by most vehicles. Travel Lite also will display three Illu- sion ultra-high-end campers in three floorplans, including shortbed and longbed with slide-out. It also will have a new floorplan with a slide-out for a 3/4-ton capable truck. New dealer incentive packages will be offered at the event. NEWMAR CORP. For Elkhart Open House Week, Newmar returns to the Ramco Engineering facility at 52965 Frederic Drive, about a mile west of the RV/MH Hall of Fame on County Road 6, where it will be showcasing its 2015 models, highlighted by the return of the mid-priced luxury motorhome London Aire. The 600-horsepower, 45-foot motorhome has returned to produc- tion for the first time since 2007. Newmar will display one of each of its 14 models, but will have no floorplans that are different from what was displayed during the company's dealer days in May. "There are some dealers who haven't seen our new products that didn't make it to dealer meetings," says Newmar Marketing Manager Shannon Stover. "We've also signed on a couple of new dealers, so that's a big draw for them. A lot of these dealers come down from the RV Hall to see our product." Stover says Newmar's display and events are mostly limited to lunch and opportunities for dealers to talk with representatives and do business. The Travel Lite Express E16 will be one of 16 units the manufacturer has on display. Meanwhile, Travel Lite will display three Illusion truck campers in three floorplans, including a new floorplan for a 3/4-ton- capable pickup. Newmar unveiled the newly imagined London Aire during its dealer meetings in May, but many dealers will get their first look at the mid-priced luxury motorhome during Open House Week.
