The event, held June 15-18 at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin hotels in Orlando, Fla., was host to more than 700 users, industry partners, product specialists and support staff, who exchanged ideas along with product and application knowledge. Sessions offered insight into the breadth of the Esko experience, in- cluding flexo platemaking, packaging prepress, color manage- ment, structural and 3D design, brand management, digital label and large format print and digital finishing. The next EskoWorld event is planned for June 2015 in Scottsdale, Ariz. Miller Weldmaster Kicks Off Roadshow with Trivantage Vinyl welding equip- ment manufacturer Miller Weldmaster, Navarre, Ohio, will soon hit the road for a new Miller Roadshow in the American Midwest. Miller Weldmaster will be away for a week in northeastern Indiana with Trivantage, a Glen Raven, N.C.-based supplier of specialty fabrics and hardware used in various end-customer products. Together, both companies will showcase Miller Weldmaster's efficacy in manufacturing fabric product as well as the end-customer product quality offered by Trivantage. Evron Graphics Expands Its Capabilities Wide-format printer manufac- turer EFI, Fremont, Calif., an- nounces that point-of-purchase (POP) signage print provider Evron Graphics, Livermore, Calif., became one of the first companies in the world to install the EFI H1625 LED hybrid roll/flatbed printer, a new inkjet product that brings EFI's LED inkjet platform to its wide-format line of entry-level production technologies. Evron Graphics' newest printer cures ink at lower tem- peratures than standard UV-curable printers, something that provides sizable, tangible results. Now, as Evron Graphics runs the H1625 LED printer alongside its EFI H652 model, company founder and President Chris Root is benefitting from lower expenses and even better digital productivity, ease-of- use and versatility. FASTSIGNS Named a Top Franchise for Military Vets Sign shop franchisor FASTSIGNS International Inc., Carrollton, Texas, was named one of the top franchises for military veter- ans by both USA Today and G.I. Jobs magazine. The USA Today honor is based off of data collected by the World Franchising Network for its fifth annual list of the "50 Top Franchises for Veterans," which selected 50 franchisors from 300-plus companies that had the best representation in their operations (including franchised units, company-owned units and among the ranks of senior management) and individual programs created to attract veterans. This recognition was featured in the June 20, 2014, is- sue of USA Today in the "Franchising Today" section. Canon U.S.A. Introduces Mobile Print Solution Canon U.S.A., Melville, N.Y., a leader in digital imaging solu- tions, announces Canon Print Service, a mobile print solution that enables users to print from any Android version 4.4 (KitKat) enabled devices as well as select HP Slate devices to select Canon models. Canon Print Service works on top of Android's recently an- nounced printing framework and enables users to print their busi- ness documents, personal documents and photographs to Canon printing systems over a wireless network. The addition of Canon Print Service to Canon's mobile solutions portfolio expands easy Android device printing support. Veritiv Now Trading on the NYSE Veritiv Corporation, a leading distribu- tion solutions company with corporate offices in Atlanta, Ga., and Loveland, Ohio, announces that it began trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol VRTV on July 2, 2014. The new company was formed as a result of the July merger between xpedx and Unisource Worldwide, Inc. Projected 2014 revenue for the combined company is in the $9 to $10 billion range. Pursuant to the transaction agreements, Veritiv completed its separation from International Paper Company. Immediately thereafter, UWW Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Unisource Worldwide, merged with and into Veritiv. In connection with the transactions, Veritiv issued 16 million shares, with approximately 51 percent distributed to International Paper shareholders and approxi- mately 49 percent issued to the sole stockholder of UWW Holdings.
