C o u R T e S Y D S A P H o T o T e C H In conjunction with the station's 75th anniversary, Los Angeles Union Station is currently presenting an art exhibition entitled "e Heart of Los Angeles". DSA Phototech LED Light Boxes were chosen to help showcase 30 distinctive photographic works of art cre- ated by five talented artists. LED Light Boxes from DSA Phototech were selected to showcase the groundbreaking "e Heart of Los Angeles" exhibition at Los Angeles Union Station. e exhibition was launched this past May as part of the station's 75th anniversary celebration. "e Heart of Los Angeles" consists of 30 photographic artworks from five accom- plished artists: Suzanne Adelman, Sam Comen, Kevin McCollister, Jim McHugh and Catherine Opie. ese photographs showcase Los Angeles Union Station's role in the community in a variety of ways, ranging from the station's cultural significance and archi- tectural heritage to transit usage and the station's social relationship with surrounding neighborhoods. As this art installation will be on prominent display for one year, it will be seen by thousands of visitors. rough DSA Phototech's LED Light Boxes, visitors to the station will view the works of "e Heart of Los Angeles" in an optimal fashion, thus enhancing the overall viewing experience. Moofish Food Adds Signage Vista System International, recently supplied its modern, sleek designed 3D il- luminated signage and matching building signage to Signarama Alexandria, Austra- lia. e signs were required for the Moof- ish Food Distributor's Headquarter, which was recently clad with ACP (Aluminum Composite Panels) and needed signage to match. e client required, among other sign solutions, a 3D "light box" that had to complement the new building façade. Vista System's curved design, aluminum signage solutions, won the day. e graphics were done on a 10mm acrylic surfaces, which proved to work very well with Vista System extrusions and curved shape. e entire project was installed within four weeks, to the full satisfaction of the end customer.
