— and it is commemorated around the team

occurred when even the oldest players on the
current rosters were in their early teenage
years will have a minimal impact this fall.
"That's part of why the players are here
today — the ones that we have on our team
— because of the things that the guys have
done in the past," he said. "We have a great
tradition here of football excellence and
winning championships. That's why a lot of
these players have chosen to come play here.
"It isn't necessarily going to affect how the
guys go out and play this week, other than the
fact that anybody can beat anybody on any
given day. We've proven it. Other than that, I
don't think it really has much significance, in
terms of this week's preparations."
