On The Throttle
The very first cover of SnoWest Magazine—Snowmobile West back then—40 years ago, interestingly
enough, showed sledders trying to get a snowmobile that is stuck in the snow out.
We don't know that we would show a stuck sled on the cover of SnoWest Magazine these days be-
cause we'd like to think we've been on the throttle in the snowmobile industry ever since that first issue in
November, 1974.
That's not to say we haven't been stuck plenty of times ... but our pride prevents us from putting those
kinds of photos on the cover.
Here's to another 40 years.
