saster for Utah, and then it got even worse
when his campaign came to an end due to
a concussion.
Wilson has returned to last year's ear-
ly-season form this fall and is leading a
high-powered offense, thanks to the Utes'
health and his improved decision-mak-
ing. The junior, who threw 16 intercep-
tions last year, has completed 63.2 per-
cent of his throws for 446 yards with six
touchdowns and no picks in his first two
games. He has also rushed for 49 yards
and a score.
In addition to Scott, who leads the team
with 10 catches and three receiving touch-
downs, fifth-year senior Dres Anderson has
averaged 97.5 receiving yards per game
after posting a 1,000-yard season in 2013.
Scott and Anderson are complimented by
fifth-year senior tight end Westlee Tonga,
who had six receptions for 85 yards and a
score through two games.
The balanced offense is powered on the
ground by a two-headed monster in red-
shirt junior Bubba Poole, who led the team
in rushing (607 yards) last season, and ju-
nior college transfer Devontae Booker.
The aggressive Whittingham defense
that Utah has become known for still re-
sides on the other side of the ball, and
might be about to take the next step. Be-
fore the season, senior Eric Rowe switched
from safety to cornerback and sophomore
Dominique Hatfield, who started the sea-
