BY BRIAN NEUBERT BNeubert@GoldandBlack.com BIG VISIT WEEKEND FOR FOOTBALL Purdue will host its rst o cial visitor of the year for the Southern Illinois game Saturday, when New York de- fensive lineman Austrian Rob- inson visits West Lafayette. The Rivals.com three-star prospect is one of Purdue's top defensive targets and a target for many other programs, as Syracuse, Rutgers, Temple, Pittsburgh and numerous other East Coast schools have o ered him, with Penn State and Maryland among those also interested. Additionally, Purdue is expected to host several of its standing commitments for the SIU game, including QB Elijah Sindelar, running back Markell Jones, safety Andy Chelf, lineman Peyton Truitt and snapper Ben Makowski. Hunter Johnson of Brownsburg, considered by many to be one of top quarterbacks nationally in the Class of 2017, is scheduled to make a re- turn visit also. Purdue has o ered Johnson, as have Tennessee, Kentucky, Penn State and others.
