GoldanDBlack express • volume 25, express 4 • 36 BY BRIAN NEUBERT BNEUBERT@GOLDANDBLACK.COM As could have been predicted after Purdue finished in last place in the Big Ten last season, preseason predic- tions have not been terri- bly kind to the freshman- heavy Boilermakers. S Athlon Sports' preseason Big Ten predic- tions put Purdue 12th in the 14-team league, ahead of only Northwestern and Rutgers. S Sporting News also puts the Boilermak- ers 12th in the conference ahead of the Wild- cats and Scarlet Knights. The maga- zine puts center A.J. Hammons on its 10-player pre- season All-Big Ten squad. S Lindy's Sports puts the Boilermakers 13th in the league, ahead of only Rut- gers. Coming off a Final Four appear- ance, Wisconsin is considered the league's clear-cut preseason front- runner, ranked second nation- ally (behind Ken- tucky) by Athlon and Lindy's and third, behind Arizona and UK, by Sporting News. MOORE A BULL Former Boilermaker guard E'Twaun Moore has signed a contract with the Chicago Bulls, according to a tweet from Priority Sports, the agency that represents Moore. The Bulls announced the signing Thursday afternoon. Moore is a native of near-by East Chicago, Ind. "Congrats @ETwaun55 on signing with the @chicagobulls. Nothing like staying at home!" the tweet read. He spent the past two seasons with the Orlando Magic, averaging 6.3 points in 79 appearances this season. Moore, who was drafted by the Boston Celtics in 2011, joins Robbie Hummel (Minnesota) and Carl Landry (Sacramento) as former Boilermakers under contract in the NBA. BTN GAME TIMES The majority of Purdue's — and the Big Ten's — 2014-15 television schedule has been released, with the Boilermak- ers set to play at least a dozen league games on BTN.
