48 COMMERCIAL CARRIER JOURNAL | OCTOBER 2014 technology O mnitracs and McLeod Software announced new integration capa- bilities. Fleets using McLeod Software's LoadMaster Enterprise product and Omnitracs' Mobile Computing Platforms now have additional integration points for Omnitracs' Driver Workfl ow Application and Optimized Fuel Stops. "Omnitracs is committed to delivering seamlessly integrated solutions that offer greater asset visibility and operational intelligence to address fl eets' most pressing safety, regulatory and productivity needs," said Dan Speicher, chief technology offi cer at Omnitracs. "These new integrations with McLeod will enable our shared cus- tomers to leverage enhanced functionality to further streamline fl eet operations." s Omnitracs Driver Workfl ow Ap- plication to McLeod LoadMaster: This integration for Omnitracs' MCP 50, 110 and 200 improves management of load assignments, the companies said. Fleets can deliver the right information to the right driver at the right time, which can reduce expenses, improve productivity and let drivers focus on safety and custom- er service. s Omnitracs Driver Workfl ow Ap- plication with Optimized Fuel Stops: This integration lets fl eets using McLeod LoadMaster Enterprise integrated with ProMiles or IDSC Expert Fuel or IDSC Match Advice and the Omnitracs Driver Workfl ow application to provide op- timized fuel stops within the provided route stops for a workfl ow trip plan. This provides more effi cient information for the driver and maintains route consistency supporting fl eets' defi ned fuel programs and allowing "along route" fueling, the companies said. "McLeod Software and Omnitracs have collaborated for many years, offering our shared customer base cutting-edge functionality to improve the driver's in-cab experience," said Robert Brothers, manager of product development at Mc- Leod Software. "The new enhancements will give our customers value-added capabilities when it comes to improving productivity, effi ciency and load profi t- ability through availability of detailed and accurate information." McLeod Software also announced that ALK Technologies' PC Miler 28 routing, mileage and mapping software has been tested successfully and approved for use with McLeod's LoadMaster and Power- Broker products to provide up-to-date truck-specifi c routing and mileage data, including truck restrictions and truck-spe- cifi c toll costs. – Aaron Huff Text INFO to 205-289-3554 or visit www.ccjdigital.com/info For more information: Call us: 800-491-8549 Visit us: www.mitchell1.com Keep trucks moving through your bays with the industry's most complete service & estimating tools for Class 4-8 trucks: X Repair Information X Labor Estimating X Trouble Code Procedures © 2014 Mitchell Repair Information Company, LLC.
