GOLDANDBLACK EXPRESS • VOLUME 25, EXPRESS 6 • 37 ville Class of 2015 running back Ke'Shawn Vaughn in for an official visit. Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Ken- tucky, Louisville and Wisconsin are among his other offers. COMMITMENT'S STATUS IN QUESTION It remains to be seen whether running back commitment Rob Ennis will remain part of Purdue's class. According to media reports in New Jersey, the 17-year-old from Millville High School is facing charg- es of aggravated assault following a Saturday night incident in which he allegedly punched a female in the face at a beauty pageant. The girl involved has also been charged with simple assault, ac- cording to the South Jersey Times. It is expected that Purdue will let at least some measure of the le- gal process run its course, but suf- fice to say Ennis' scholarship status with the program is very much in jeopardy. WOMEN LAND COMMITMENT Sharon Versyp and her staff landed their fourth 2015 commit- ment when Louisville Assumption center Nora Kiesler committed during her official visit. The 6-6 senior-to-be canceled remaining visits to Kan- sas and Michigan State. "I always wanted to go to a school that has a great academic pro- gram as well as basket- ball," Kiesler said. "And Purdue fit that mold. And this weekend, I got to meet the girls and just realized how great their program is and how much I can grow, not only as a basketball player but as an overall person with Coach Ver- syp and that staff." ESPN.com ranks Kiesler as the No. 17 center nationally in her class. NOTEBOOK S Matt Painter and his staff offered a scholarship to Class of 2017 Indianapolis Park Tudor for- ward Jaren Jackson Jr., an NBA leg- acy who's also being recruited by Michigan State, Michigan, UCLA, Stanford and Indiana, among oth- ers to this point. "I was very happy and sur- prised when it happened," Jack- son said. "I've been there multiple times now and they've expressed their interest in me. I thought (an offer) might be coming up soon. I just didn't know when. (Painter) definitely did it the right way by sitting me down and talking to me about it (in person)." Purdue also hosted an unoffi- cial from 2016 forward target Nick Ward and 2017 Fort Wayne big man Malik Williams, among others. Williams already holds an IU offer. S Purdue 2016 point guard target C.J. Walker was scheduled to visit West Lafayette last weekend but has had to resched- ule for this weekend. He was offered by Purdue in September.
