Marvel Comics just know too well how to create a successful cine-comics' saga. After they risked a lot with the
mostly unknown Iron Man, launching one of the most successful movies' franchise of the latest years, this sum-
mer they decided to give Guardians of the Galaxy an on-screen adaptation. Well, the group of space-travelling
misfits obtained critical praise and gained the status of the highest grossing movie of the year. The movie is
simply great. It's the compelling, funny and unpredictable story of the adventurer Peter Quill, who finds himself
the object of the hunt of Ronan, a terrible villain who threatens to destroy the entire universe. Quill needs help,
and he is forced to join forces with a quartet of misfits: disparate misfits-Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a
tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer.
Their adventure will turn out as an odd, twisty and dangerous one. The cast is great, with Lee Pace, Karen Gillan,
Glenn Close,Vin Diesel, and the shining new cinema star Chris Pratt, who is the perfect lead for this role. The
soundtrack is gripping, the photography is visually stunning: it is just the perfect Marvel's movie. It is a strong
and unique heroic origin story, which is able to mix a great deal of humour, a crazy amount of thrills and lot of
heart. We couldn't ask for more!
