The Trans-Siberian Railway is the name giv-
en to the three rail routes that traverse Sibe-
ria to Moscow.
It is the longest railway in the world and
it was built between 1891 and 1916 to con-
nect Moscow with Vladivostok. I have heard
of this great adventure-travel from a friend
of mine, who for three months travelled
through these three termini: from Moscow,
to Beijing to Vladivostok. En route it passes
through the cities of Perm, Yekaterinburg,
Omsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkuts, Chi-
ta and of Khabarovs.
He lived into villages, and was deeply en-
riched and touched by this experience.
Most of the travelers, who decides to start
this trip, will need visas for both China and
Russia and to buy in advance the tickets
which can be purchased online. The unique
and satisfying side of this long and exhaust-
ing trip is to visit unexplored countries fol-
lowing the railway's route, village after vil-
lage. You will see amazing locations and
landscapes, you will get in touch with the
residents, you will be able to live your travel
fully.
Travelling doesn't always correspond to
going on holiday: to live as a traveler, as
Marco Polo or other explorers did, you have
to get lost into the places you are visiting.
The Trans-Siberian Railway gives the possibility to buy a
ticket and visit by train the incredibly forgotten west side of
the world. An once in a lifetime experience.
