FOOD BLOGGERS: THE NEW FRONTIER OF RECIPES VEG FEST HEADS TO THE LONDON OLYMPIA Have you ever searched for recipes online? You will find a variety of food bloggers. The years's most animal friendly festival is almost upon us... Food blogs are widely respected at the moment, and popular among internet surf- ers. Thanks to this increase of popularity there are always more food bloggers : new guides for inexpert cookeries, who wants to have new simple ideas to follow. This is a list of some of the most famous and cool- est one: Poires au Chocolat is Emma Gardner's blog. She explains new difficult techniques through silent videos. She also gives a glossary of specific terms to explain prop- erly what she is doing. Lovely recipes on baking and desserts. Ms Marmite Lover: she is Kerstin Rodgers is an award-winning food blogger. She's written a couple of books on supper clubs and promotes recipes and food through social media. Jenny Chandler is a well known enthusi- astic Spanish cooker. She writes a warm blog which aims to record share imagina- tive and original new dishes. Reading reci- pes can be misleading and boring, reading her blog is fascinating. Gastro Geek is a british-born Bengali food writer/cookbook author. Her name is Re- jina Sabur-Cross and she has lots of crazy- good recipes on her blog, some of them influenced by Japan's world. She is funny, witty and will engage easily with her in- credibile recipes and her writing style. In conclusion, it's not difficult to find out a whole new world of dishes and recipes. If you are ready to discover it, all you need it's a laptop, strength of will and a great blog to have a look at. Ahoy all lentil lovers and chickpea chasers, the London Veg Fest has arrived to celebrate all foods without a face, urging the carefree carnivores amongst us to lay down the lamb and pick up the pulses, for an animal friendly feast in the heart of Kensington. On Saturday the 27th and Sun- day the 28th of September a legion of vegans and veggies, as well as their bi-curious bedfellows, will fill the recently renovated London Olympia for a weekend of socially con- scious snacking. The expected audience of 10,000 plus will be treated to over 200 stalls full of food, body care, cosmetic, fashion and lifestyle products, with the promise of free samples, discounts and tasters for early birds. A host of high-profile speakers from all over the world will hold seminars on lifestyle, nutrition, and campaigning. Lo- cal chefs will lead cookery demos, sharing their culinary cues for better eating. Once you're teeming with tofu and laden with legumes, Veg Fest has an impressive roster of special guests, comedians and musicians to mediate the meal, including Alasdair Beckett-King, John Robb, Aman- da Hamilton and Andrew O'Neill. With the added attrac- tions of a cinema and organised children's activities, the London Veg Fest provides for all but the totally bovine in- clined.
