Special events can also lead to unusually crowded conditions and more aggressive skaters. Special care should be taken to ensure that the number of skaters on the ice at any one time is safe and reasonable and that skaters are obeying the rules of the rink and not skating in a reckless manner. At all times, it is important that the rink have a clear set of posted rules for behavior on the ice and in the rink.
