A freak storm made the floating green at
The Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course a bit
too mobile.
"We knew there was something wrong,
because the green normally stays in a pretty
stable position," Superintendent Kevin Hicks
said. High winds that struck on the afternoon of
July 23 had shifted the green about 70 feet to the
west on Lake Coeur d'Alene.
