With its 13" X 13" platen and compact frame, the Model 201 is suitable for a small-format machine. Its swing-away de- sign makes it user friendly by providing unobstructed access to the lower platen. The company reports that the pressure source is stra- tegically placed to provide heavy-duty distribution of pressure. The upper heating element reportedly provides even heat distri- bution across the entire element. www.instagraph.com 566-404-3000 Six-color, four-station press The Kruzer from M&R is the company's most affordable entry-level manual screen printing press. The Kruzer includes numerous design fea- tures including tapered roller bearing-supported upper and lower carousels, a microregistration system, machined center shaft, and three-point platen leveling system. Kruzer's lever-adjusted off-contact system operates vertically, eliminat- ing the need for a separate angle adjustment. Kruzer is offered in a six-color, four-station mod- el, and it's designed to fit through a 78-cm door- way when disassembled. Side screen holders and solid-aluminum, low-profile, rubber-coated platens are standard. M&R's System Integration design allows Kruzer to integrate with the Tri-Loc Rapid Registration System, which allows decora- tors to set up and register screens. Kruzer's max- imum screen width—58 cm—also fits most auto- matic presses. It ships disassembled and boxed for on-site assembly, but can be ordered fully assembled and crated for an additional charge. www.mrprint.com 800-736-6431 Rhinestone setter The CrystalPress from Ioline is an automatic rhinestone machine that is portable with no periodic maintenance and uses few consum- ables, according to the company. The system is scalable as business grows with the capability of running a maximum four machines from a single computer. The CrystalPress comes with CrystalStudio software. Customers may use their own graphic design software such as CoreDRAW or Illustrator or purchase the Ioline Design graphic software to create rhinestone designs. Customers may also purchase vector art and customize it if they don't have designing experi- ence. The CrystalPress automatically picks and places stones on a transfer sheet, which is then applied to the material. The system allows for as many as six different size rhinestones and 100 colors per design. Transfer sheets come in 15.75" X 13.5" and 15.75" X 31.5" sizes for large designs. The system works with octagon rhinestuds, most good-quality rhinestones, and high-end stones like Preciosa and Swarovski crystals. The Crys- talPress is built in the U.S. www.ioline.com 800-598-0029
