MICHIGAN FOOTBALL 3. CB Jourdan Lewis — Lewis has become the most reliable cover-corner on the team. He's virtually always in the right spot in coverage and still has the only interceptions by someone in the secondary, with two. The sophomore's ability to help in the run-game is often overlooked, but he's fifth on the team in tackles with 34. 4. WR Amara Darboh —The redshirt sophomore has played in every game this season and is becoming a more reliable target than leading receiver Devin Funchess. Darboh has 30 catches for 403 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His numbers aren't eye-popping, but he has a solid pair of hands and has made some tough, chain-moving catches this season with a 13.4-yards-per-catch average. 5. RB De'Veon Smith — With Derrick Green being sidelined, Smith is now the leading rusher on the team with 501 yards on 95 carries. He's found the end zone six times and averages a solid 5.1 yards per carry. Smith will never be a home run threat, but the sophomore fights for every yard and wears on defenses. 6. DE Brennen Beyer — Quietly, Beyer has just done his job all season long. He's fifth on the team with 32 tackles and first with 5.5 sacks. The senior is not flashy, but he's solid and frequently puts pressure on the opposing quarterback. 7. DT Ryan Glasgow — Like Beyer, Glasgow doesn't do anything spectacu- lar, he just holds his ground and plays his position. He's notched 20 tackles on the season, including three for loss, and has also forced and recovered a fumble. Going unnoticed sometimes means you are doing everything right. That's the case with the redshirt sophomore. 8. K Matt Wile — Not counting the blocked attempt against Northwestern, Wile has not missed a field goal since the Rutgers game more than a month ago. Since week two, he's 11-of-13 counting the block against the Wildcats. Not surprisingly on a team that struggles to score touchdowns, the senior is the leading scorer with 59 points. 9. S Jarrod Wilson —The junior has started every game that he's been healthy for and has amassed more tackles in the secondary than anyone with 42. He's yet to intercept a pass but has broken one up. 10. DE Mario Ojemudia — Ojemudia has been productive in spot duty, and with an expanded role on the horizon his solid numbers should only go up. De- spite starting only one game, Ojemudia has notched seven tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. His 24 tackles rank second on the team among defensive linemen. 11. WR Devin Funchess — While Funchess has been plagued by dropped passes recently, he still leads the team with 50 receptions, 595 yards receiving and four touchdowns. Despite missing one game, he still has 20 more catches than second-leading receiver Darboh. — Brandon Brown
