The Wildcats have been amazingly erratic this season, with a win over Wisconsin and a 43-point outburst in a win at Notre Dame balanced out by a blowout loss to Iowa and 10-9 egg-laying against middling Michigan. 2 Who steps up at wide receiver? There's still a void there fol- lowing Danny Anthrop's injury. Against Wisconsin, the an- swer was pretty much no one. 3 Can Purdue get its running game up and going again after getting stifled by the Badgers? If the Boilermakers aren't run- ning the ball effectively, they're probably not scoring. 4 Can Purdue dominate special teams? It was a strength most of the season, up until some slippage lately. Northwestern's kicking game has mostly been shoddy. 5 Can Austin Appleby remain vertical? The Purdue QB was under siege against Nebraska and Wisconsin.
