W I S C O N S I N P H O T O G A L L E R Y Speaking of records, kicker Paul Griggs nailed field goals from 53 and 52 yards, the two longest kicks in the same game by a Boilermaker. He has nailed three of 50 yards or more this season, also a Purdue first. Akeem Hunt was on the receiving end of a 79-yard scoring pass from Austin Appleby early in the second half. It was Hunt's second long touchdown of his career against the Badgers as he had an 81-yard run two years ago in Ross-Ade Stadium. After the Boilermakers cut the margin to 24-16 early in the third quarter, they tried an onside kick that was recovered by Raheem Mostert. It was ruled that way on the field, at least. But quarter- back Austin Appleby and his teammates watched the video board intently while the play was being reviewed. Ultimately, it was overturned. Landon Feichter had one of his better games as a Boilermaker. He had the first fumble recovery of his career — on a play he also forced the fumble. He also had an interception, his third in two games and fifth of the season. His 10 career picks ties him for ninth all-time with Bill Kay. Washington Redskins outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan was in town on a bye week. Kerrigan, who posed with the Gold Dusters for a quick photo, per- formed Shout! after the third quarter.
