Stephens nailed six first half threes against Arkansas State as he
came off the bench on fire. It was the most treys in the opening
20 minutes since Robbie Hummel had eight against Ohio State
in 2010. Coincidentally, both Stephens and Hummel did not hit a
three-pointer in the second half.

Stephens came off the bench for the first time this
season against IPFW. He responded to his sub role with
13- and 18-point efforts, his best scoring output since
the Kansas State game in Maui.
