New commitment in bold man, the 6-foot-4, 245-pounder projects as a defensive end. "He came from a heck of a program here in California, West- lake High School," Moorpark Col- lege coach Will Thurston said. "He was a great player for them. For us, he was definitely smart enough to handle a lot of changes that went on. He just has the ability to bring a great, hard outside rush, but also the strength to go inside. That really set him apart from everybody else." Mike Little: A high school wide receiv- er/defensive back, Little was recruited for cornerback. He chose Purdue over an offer from Idaho. "If they give me a shot to play, I will take it," Little said. "That's my goal. I'm going in there trying to play. I've just got to see how everything goes when I get out there … I'm just constantly working all the time on my footwork and everything. The main part of it is going to be to put on some weight, get out there and probably work on my speed a little bit then I think I'll be all right." Rivals.com California DB Mike Little was one of four official visitors to commit to Purdue last weekend.
