Upcoming G ame To Watch — at Rutgers, Jan. 7: C. Vivian Stringer has been the head coach at Rutgers since 1995, and she has the Scarlet Knights off to a 7-1 start in their inaugural Big Ten season. As a member of the Big East, Stringer and her Scarlet Knights had a winning record in all but two of her 18 seasons as head coach and made the NCAA Tournament 10 of the last 12 years. Last sea- son, as a member of the American Athletic Confer- ence, her 28-9 squad won the WNIT championship.
