FROM OUR READERS someone that taught them well beyond the white lines. HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF Dear Wolverine: Please. No one should be sur- prised that the bucknuts and their honest leader "jumped" over teams that were ahead of them. This travesty to the young men of the teams they jumped is similar to the 1973 Michigan team, which was "jumped" by a vote! Wayne Duke was responsible for that one! Ah, where there are snakes, when history repeats itself. The "Jump Job" this year did not just happen this morning. This one's foundation was laid three weeks previously fol- lowing OSU's convincing defeats of Penn State (in overtime) and a big win at Minnesota on two field goals — one which made it by a foot, one for the Gophers which missed by a foot. Ah, the domination of the press then began. Kirk Herbstreet deserves most of the credit for laying the snake's plan nationally, but let's give credit to Chris Spielman, Robert Smith, and all the other plants that the ugly uni- form's money machine has in place. There is no thought whatsoever given to honesty nor integrity when stealing from others. Those Urban Meyerites do not care nor think about what they are taking from other honest, deserving kids from the schools that deserved to be in. Although Hillbilly Nation is pounding down the beers, I really do not know how they can look in the mirror and not get sick! There is only one reason why so many good athletes would go down to play for that snake. Big money, big power, big politics, big corruption. So sad. The only way to fight the Urban Meyer way is to get honest people, not bucknut pawns, involved when voting comes into play. If the game is not played on the field (like the Virginia Tech game was — shhhhh) the snake machine will find a way. Kirk Herbstreet started it all and he carried out the political plan to perfection. Now wasn't that excit- ing for the fans? Really. I predicted last year that if the nuts were in the top eight, that the cheating machine would find a way to weasel them in. He did it in Florida in 2006, and he is a master. Do not be surprised. Ask Urban to think about the men, women, and families he hurts. May I suggest as he peers into the mirror, that he will not bat an eye nor think twice. It's all about him, with corruption and his way to where he is today. Mike Cool Morral, Ohio Bottom line here is, beat them on the field, Mike. Until you get to that point, nothing else matters. POINTS FOR THE PRESIDENT Dear The Wolverine: To President Mark Schlissel: Welcome to Michigan. I am sure that under your leadership, the Uni- versity of Michigan will continue its place as one of the most prestigious
