A guest
makes her
way down
the Olkurruk
Mara plateau,
elevation 6,200
feet, to a rest
stop so scenic
it's capable
of making a
rider forget her
sore muscles,
especially when
accompanied by
a cold beer.

the mothers get quite territorial and intensely protective
of their young. Their mock charge sends us into a quick
retreat, and the adrenaline rush reminds us that these
rides are not for the faint of heart!
