12 | JANUARY + FEBRUARY 2015 nshoremag.com While putting this wedding and travel issue together, I had a good chuckle over a story relayed by Richard Berberian of Elyse Fine Jewelers in Read- ing about a fiancée who had the inside of her groom's ring engraved with the words "If you're reading this, you're in big trouble." This tongue-in- cheek inscription is playful and light and gives me the sense that this couple will most likely stick together because of their jovial nature right from the start of their matrimony. In this issue of Northshore, we celebrate love and marriage in in - spired ways to help make your wedding day pure bliss. Floral designer Amy Reed creates winter, spring, summer, and fall bouquets that are a fresh take on the traditional. Boston Ballet dancer Mazarine Rossert is perfectly poised in gorgeous gowns and dazzling diamonds from some of the top bridal and jewelry shops in the region. Photographer Eric Roth captured this magical scene at Endicott College's Misselwood Estate on a sunny fall afternoon. Managing editor Kiley Jacques visits with Melita Fiore, who creates divine wedding cakes in her French pâtisserie in Salem, while writer Jeff Harder visits with three local jewelers to get the lowdown on what to look for when buying a diamond. Writer Elizabeth Napolitano visits the Danvers Arthur Murray dance studio and reports on learning the right moves for your first twirl around the dance floor as a married couple. We also feature three five-star honeymoon destinations that can be found right here in New England. And on a final note, you'll notice a new look for our pages. Our crea - tive director, Ryan Jolley, has been busy redesigning the magazine and giving it a fresh new look. We've also organized our stories by catego- ry—Dine, Shop, Places, Faces, and Live—to make your reading experi- ence easier and more enjoyable. Although we've made some changes, we've kept the same stunning photography and great prose that have always been featured in Northshore. Let us know what you think!
