The USINdoor Referee Program is entering its 17th season! The program
was created to train and certify officials for indoor soccer, and over 3500
referees in Mexico, Canada, and nearly every state in the U.S. have been
a part of the program over the years. A number of facilities have already
set up training and certification clinics., but it's not too late to increase the
standards and quality of your refereeing.

It's finally official! I can add some letters to the end of my name.... I am
one of the few in the country to have a Certified Arena Operator
certification to run and operate indoor facilities... so much more learning to
be done with the United States Indoor Sports Association.

Tournament Software
Jamie Hammond
General Manager at Total Sports Experience
Does anyone have any recommendations for tournament software.
We have been using GOT Soccer but looking for alternatives.
Ability to scroll scores and standings is desired along with a quick
way to schedule match ups and facilities.

Our friends at Odeum Sports & Expo Center hosted a great event this week,
a back-to-school fair that offered free school supplies and more for local
families that can't afford them.

The
referee
has
the
power
to
dictate
the
pace
of
the
game.
If
the
ball
is
in
the
air
and
it's
coming
straight
down,
and
two
players
are
going
after
it,
I
like
to
say,
"Heads
up!"
or
"Be
careful!"
so
that
I
can
better
prepare
the
players
for
the
ball
coming
down
so
that
they
don't
collide.
We
can
manage
the
game
to
help
prevent
injuries.
