RECRUITING NOTEBOOK R Purdue is awaiting a deci- sion from Rivals. com four-star run- ning back and Ten- nessee Mr. Football Ke'Shawn Vaughn, who visited West Virginia this past weekend and will announce a decision at 9 a.m. Wednesday between the Moun- taineers, Purdue, Illinois and Lou- isville. Vaughn officially visited Purdue in October, Louisville in November and Notre Dame, Illinois and West Virginia in January. Illinois just of- fered high school teammate Camer- on Watkins a schol- arship and hosted him for an official visit, so that might be something to watch as it relates to Vaughn's recruit- ment. The Montreal native is al- ready committed, too, to one of the top college programs in Can- ada but has explored U.S. options also. BASKETBALL RECRUITING S Purdue hosted 2016 cen- ter target Joey Brunk of South- port for the Indiana game, as well as in-state Class of 2018 recruits Kevin Easley Jr. of Indianapolis and Deavion Washington of Terre Haute.
