Complementary island bars pro- vide patrons with additional seating on both floors, where they can view one of 70 additional HDTVs. The (716) menu features Western New York culinary favorites with an emphasis on locally produced ingredients. Patrons can choose from a selection of 40 beers with 20 on tap, including an extensive collection of craft beers, along with a menu of signature cocktails. Another dining option at HARBORCENTER features hockey his- tory. A one-of-a-kind Tim Hortons Café and Bakeshop pays tribute to the life and career of hockey legend Tim Horton as well as Memorial Auditorium, Buffalo's hockey base from 1940 to 1996. Across the street from Tim Hortons, on the northwest cor- ner of HARBORCENTER, is the former site of The Aud, now redeveloped into his- torically aligned replicas of the Erie Canal. This summer, HARBORCENTER will open a 205-room full-service Marriott Hotel with rooms on levels 8–20. Additional retail storefronts are expected in the com- ing months. "The overall HARBORCENTER vision includes destination, development and impact," said the building's president, John Koelmel. "We are proud to operate a one- of-a-kind complex that serves as a year-round attraction. We aim to become the premier development destination, as we provide world-class training and develop- ment to hockey players and coaches at all levels. And everyday, we work to advance and accelerate the economic growth and impact of new development in downtown Buffalo."
