chance to make an impression as potential playmak-
ers and land spots on the two-deep.
And they know there's a big opportunity to be
seized, Anthrop said.
"I think the whole corps as a unit, we have to have
a big year because we're looking at going to a more
fast-paced offense," said Anthrop, revealing a poten-
tial tweak to the offense the Boilermakers ran last
season.
Sometime soon, Purdue will have a coach to lead
those receivers. Darrell Hazell spent time last week
exploring options, and he's expected to make a hire
soon to fill the coaching staff.
SCHEDULE CHANGE
Purdue will open its 2015 season one day later than
expected.
The Boilermakers' game at Marshall has
been moved from Saturday to Sunday, Sept. 6,
the school said in a press release Monday. The
game was moved by the Conference USA of-
fice for national television, according to Mar-
shall.
Kick off will be at 3 p.m. T V is still to be
determined.

Marshall is coming off a 13-1 season that included its
first Conference USA championship and No. 23 end-of-
the -year ranking. It beat Nor thern Illinois in the Boca Ra-
ton Bowl. But the Thundering Herd lost their best player,
quar terback Rakeem Cato, who was the school's all-time
leader in total offense (14,918 yards), touchdowns (146)
and consecutive games with a TD pass (46, an NCAA re

cord).
Purdue, which was 3-9 last season, last opened
a schedule on a Sunday in 2004 against Syracuse on
Sept. 5.
